Munda Wanga is an Environmental Park that is comprised of an Environmental Education Centre, a Wildlife Park and Sanctuary and a Botanical Garden. In addition to these main attractions there is a recreational village and a catering facility on site.

Wildlife Sanctuary
In full the Wildlife Park and Sanctuary provides shelter to a number of animals and serves as a place where the general public can come and learn about the animals in the Zambian bush and other animals found in the region. A large part of the different animals kept at the Wildlife Sanctuary is being rescued from the illegal pet trade of from the bushmeat trade. Others were orphaned and brought to Munda Wanga for rehabilitation and possibly release back to the wild. Read more about the Wildlife Sanctuary here ...

Botanical Garden
The Botanical Gardens, started in 1950, are a matured garden with a variety of plants from around the world. We are currently expanding our Zambian collection and have several projects and proposals on the promotion of indigenous plants and trees in to the private gardens in Lusaka and among the general public in Zambia. There are several education projects continuously running in the Botanical Gardens. Read more about the Botanical Gardens here ...

Education Centre
The Environmental Education Centre provides guidance to all our visitors, whether it is through a guide that is escorting them around the park, or through the development of lessons, information posters or workshops. The Education team facilitates the school visits every week and on weekends they will be available for questions during the feeding tour and organise several tours through the Botanical Gardens where you can learn about, medicinal plants, tree identification, or just enjoy the beauty of nature. Recreational Village
The Recreational Village has different areas, you will find the Cheetah Bar, several rondavels with braai stands and picnic benches. There is a volley ball field, soccer field and an area for other ball games and activities. You will also find here the Super-Tube-Slide, a 30 meter water powered slide that will push you down in a flash and squirt you out in to the large nicely shaped pool at the bottom.
