The education
department would like to invite your school to participate in
new educational programmes at Munda Wanga.
Our programmes
incorporate base curricula, such as maths, reading, writing, and
social science to reinforce what they learn in school. A day out
at Munda Wanga can therefore cater for your personal class
needs. We hope this experience will heighten the participant’s
senses and appreciation for conserving the flora and fauna
species of Zambia.
Please make the
commitment, for your students, toward receiving a full
educational experience through our practical activities.

Munda Wanga has
a lot of schools visiting, we therefore kindly ask you to take
the following points into account:
·
All programs are one and a half hours long unless otherwise
arranged.
·
Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time, as arriving
late may compromise your educational lesson.
·
Priorities always go toward schools arriving on time.
·
All educational programs include a tour of the Wildlife Park and
botanic gardens.
·
Upper basic and secondary students need to bring a pen and
writing notebooks.
Educational
Programmes
We have a wide
variety of programmes on offer:
General Tour
This tour is
designed for a school looking for a quick trip to Munda Wanga,
or a large group consisting of a range of ages and grades. The
tour is very general in its format. Included in the tour of the
wildlife park are a video show, and a short lesson in the
handling of bio-facts. For no additional cost, one of Munda
Wanga’s educators can also provide a guided tour of the
botanical gardens upon request.
